Our Conditioning classes focus on repeated efforts of high intensity interval training designed to condition the cardiovascular system and improve work capacity.

A1: Goblet Squat - 15 reps - 10s rest
A2: Deadmill Sprint - 30s - 30s rest

Repeat 5x

Rest: 2-3mins

B1: Push Press - DB - 15 reps - 10s rest
B2: Farmers Carry - 30s - 30s rest

Kaizen Personal Training opened 1 year ago today.

It hasn’t been the easiest year, with the current circumstances and changes to how we deliver our professional services, however, one thing that did not change is the level of service that we continue to pride ourselves on, to give our clients the tools they need to be successful.

“Kaizen” - Embodies small, ongoing continuous

“Kaizen” - Embodies small, ongoing continuous changes resulting in major improvements

The kaizen method was the one of the first strength training methods I learned about years ago in @strength_sensei_inc’s book The Poliquin Principles.

In the weight room the Kaizen method is referred to as a form of progressive overload. Getting marginally better at an exercise each workout and improving over time, as opposed to making big leaps from one workout to the next or continuously changing the process.

This method of training was so effective for myself, that I now emulate it in all aspects of life, relationships and of course my personal training business.
